Surprise! Surprise! I had some people look at my house on Friday. I don't even have it for sale officially but an agent knew I wanted to sell and she had a couple that were wanting a place in my price range and my neighborhood. Feed back was that they liked it but they were concerned about the 'snap, crackle & pop' of my troublesome floor in the hallway. I agree...it is a pain and I've put up with it for about five years so it is time to get it fixed. I went to Lowe's and made arrangements for Eric, my floor guy, to come and look at it and give me an estimate. I will probably be surprised at the cost...I don't think it will be much. Eric looked at it before and tried to come up with a remedy but nothing worked.
The folks that looked at the house also really want to build a house but they don't have the money for that. They live in Springfield and want to live closer to their kids and grand children living in California, Mo.
